Every girls crowning glory is their hair, right? I’m guilty of not looking after mine as well as I should. However I do like to invest in good quality hair products that will keep my hair looking healthy and nourished. Let’s look at some of the hot hair products I am using right now:
Aveda – Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair Conditioner
L’oreal Elnett Supreme Hold Hairspray
For a super bouncy blow dry or to get that high volume quiff look for a night out, I need a hairspray that will give an iron steel hold. In the past I have used other haircare brands and some high street store own brand sprays, but now I always use L’oreal Elnett Supreme Hold Hairspray. Unlike other hairsprays its not too sticky, and won’t leave my hair matted and stiff. Its gives great body and shine, but still keeping my look, lasting all night. Best of all it, doesn’t expand amongst the heat of a hot nightclub. It smells really good too!
TRESemme Moisture Rich Luxurious Shampoo
Last week I bought Moisture Rich Luxurious Shampoo by Tresemme. It was on offer for half price for a 900ml bottle at my local Superdrug so I thought I’d give it a try. Tresemme has had a mixture of good and bad reviews over the years but I think this the best product in their complete range. The shampoo itself is thick and silky and is gently absorbed into wet hair. You just need to massage it into every strand and wash out. I was pleasantly surprised afterwards, my hair felt and looked really shiny! It aims to give the ultimate hydration and a rich treatment – I totally agree. The big 900ml bottle will last me ages too.
Vita Coco Coconut Oil 500ml
A new revelation to hit the market this year is Coconut Oil. Used by generations in tropical climates, its now hit our shores as a conditioning treatment for your tresses. I only use this once a week and leave on for a few hours but some people prefer to leave it on overnight. Its really easy to use, first section off your hair then just take a tennis ball sized amount out of the jar and smudge between the palms of your hands. It should go a bit gooey, then work it through from root to tip of each section making sure all your hair is covered. I then wrap it up in a towel and watch some TV for a few hours before rinsing it out. This brand of coconut oil is wholly 100% natural all the way from the Philippines.
